What is Sports Aerobics?Sports aerobics is a highly competitive sport that incorporates components of fitness including cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, balance, coordination, agility, speed and power through a one to two minute high intensity routine. Across the globe people of all cultures, ages and backgrounds participate in sports aerobics however the focus of this presentation is to justify and evaluate which level of Figueroa’s framework of has the most impact on the wider Ipswich community’s participation in sports aerobics.
In the Ipswich community there is a lack of participation in sports aerobics due to many factors, these being lack of facilities to practice and perform in and lack of knowledge of the sport which can give many stereotypical views of the sport. All of the points previously brought up will all be discussed throughout this website.
